Who We Are
Bryanne Tait (she/her)
Co-Founder
Bryanne has an extensive background in the international development sector having worked for the World Bank for 10 of her 25 years of work experience. Between 2009 - 2011 she was based in Moscow, working substantially in Ukraine, and then 2013 - 2020 with a significant focus on internally and externally displaced persons throughout the Middle East and South Asia. She also has 15 years experience in the climate and clean energy sector.
Lesley Mapstone (she/her)
Co-Founder
Lesley is a leader in international rescue, logistics and placement of rescued animals. She is a professional photographer and filmmaker with an extensive media background.
Luba Beley (she/her)
Board Director
A Ukrainian by birth, Luba has been in Canada since the early 1990's. She has nearly 35 years experience in sales, marketing, automotive, real estate, education, and as a former host and reporter for a Ukrainian-Canadian news and entertainment channel under Rogers TV. Her family still resides in Ukraine, where they face daily barrages and attacks, sharing their experiences with family diaspora in efforts to raise awareness of the realities on the ground as a result of the invasion.
